since it’s now officially december, and I don’t anticipate being blown away by any new releases in the next 30 days, I figured I’d share my favourite albums of the past year. note that this isn’t a “best of” list. I don’t believe in that nonsense. what’s “best” is what you get the most out of, end of story. also, there’s a lot of things I just didn’t get around to hearing, so yeah. most of these I really connected with lyrically, a couple are spectacularly well executed and original, two of them are perfect representations of their respective genres, and a few are just pure fun. anyway, none of this will surprise you since you follow my blog. in no particular order:
